Malibu Farm
Nobody does farm-to-table quite like Malibu Farm in Lido Marina Village. In addition to fresh dishes that rotate with the seasons, craft cocktails and coastal vibes are kind of their thing. For an after-dinner pick-me-up, order the Java—a bittersweet blend of vodka, bourbon cream and their house cold brew. This take on the espresso martini is the perfect nightcap, and during the holidays, imbibers can expect a festive twist on this menu mainstay.
The Mayor’s Table Pacific Pub + Kitchen
Nestled on the grounds of the Lido House hotel, The Mayor’s Table offers a simple yet classic take on the espresso martini. Expertly mixed and beautifully presented, this after-dinner cocktail is crafted with La Colombe cold brew, vodka and simple syrup—a concoction that goes down easy and guarantees the perfect buzz.

A popular celeb hangout in the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s, A Restaurant has evolved into a classic and renowned Newport Beach restaurant known for its stellar cocktails and selection of steaks and seafood. Their espresso martini perfectly represents the venue’s nostalgic vibe—it’s creamy, leans on the sweeter side and is served in a classic martini glass. Whether you’re enjoying a romantic date night in one of the leather booths or bellying up to the bar for an after-hours libation, this take on the classic does not disappoint.
Topside Roof Deck
As the only rooftop in Newport Beach, it’s no surprise Topside is a popular spot to sip and catch a sunset. Part of the Lido House hotel, this chic bar exudes a trendy beach house vibe and features a menu of crafty libations and shareable snacks like chili-pistachio dip, tomato crudo and shrimp agua chile. And while their margaritas hit the spot in the summertime, nothing beats an espresso martini in the fall and winter months. Their take on this buzzy beverage combines nitro Ketel One Vodka, La Colombe cold brew and demerara syrup.
JOEY Newport Beach
Over the past few months, our city has welcomed a handful of new restaurants, including the already-popular JOEY Newport Beach. Marrying iconic hospitality (they literally give you a glass of champagne while you wait!) with a locally- and globally-inspired menu, this stunner of a restaurant is everything we anticipated and more. And while the wine list is unrivaled, their espresso martini made with Absolut Vodka, Kahlúa and a double shot of espresso is to die for. If you’re feeling extra fun, have the bartender add Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey ($6) for an even more decadent drink.
