"I knew they hit my car. I didn't know how bad. And before I could even look out my window, I heard the crash into the post office," she said. Logan said the driver got out of the passenger door of the pickup truck and ran off. Surveillance video from a nearby home shows the man believed to be the driver running off. The damage to the building was extensive."It's cracked up at the top," said Logan. "So the building is not safe at all."Logan also said he knew of two people who had put their taxes in the mail before the crash."They said we just put those in so we didn't touch anything," said Logan.The postmaster told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that all mail would be diverted to the post office in Dawson. They were also able to get mail out of the mailbox in front of the building.Fayette County 911 dispatchers said no one was hurt in the crash.State police are investigating.
